The entry fee to visit Paradise Beach is INR 150 per person. It is open to tourists from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all days.

 

Serenity Beach

 

If you’re looking for an idyllic setting to spend some time with your loved one, look no further than Serenity Beach. This beautiful beach is located in Kottakuppam, on the outskirts of Puducherry, and is only 5.3 kilometres from the white town. With its perfect golden sand, blue waters, and lush palm and coconut trees, it’s no wonder this spot is so popular. Plus, there are plenty of beachside cafes and flea markets to explore. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even head to the adjacent surfing training school to pick up some new skills under professional guidance.

 

Pondy Marina Beach

 

The “food-themed” Pondy Marina Beach in Puducherry is one emerging tourist attraction that is located near the new lighthouse just 3 km from white town. It has 34 food courts where you can experience a variety of foods while gazing at the stars and feeling the gentle breeze from the sea. It offers a variety of activities for children, including horse riding, camel riding, mini-boating, and a kids’ arcade. ATV riding, parasailing, beach volleyball, and other adventure sports are being planned for the near future. It also has a seaside lawn for various corporate and social occasions.

 

Eden Beach

 

Eden Beach in Ariyankuppam is on the way to Paradise Beach, about 10 kilometres from the white town of Pondicherry. The arch at the entrance to Eden Beach greets you, and the view is mesmerising in the early morning and late evening. They have umbrella huts and sit-outs all over the place to provide much-needed shade and rest. There are also food outlets and drink stands situated throughout the beach area, along with other amenities like washrooms, changing rooms, and even a kids’ play area.

 

Ruby Beach

 

Ruby Beach is a new beach developed by the government of Pondicherry. It is located in Veerampattinam on the route from Puducherry to Cuddalore, around 10 kilometres from the white town. Many tourist attractions offer activities such as horseback riding and ATV riding along the backwaters of the river. The beach is decorated with an ancient ship and is a beautiful place for friends and family. On the left side of the beach, there is a road that goes to the river mouth. You can walk to the end to get a good view of the Pondicherry Light House. The archaeological site “Arikamedu” is just a stroll away from this beach.

 

Auro Beach

 

Auroville Beach is a stunningly beautiful location that’s perfect for tourists and locals looking to relax and rejuvenate in a laid-back atmosphere. With clear, shallow water and sun-kissed shores, the beach is perfect for swimming and surfing. One can spot surfers, both novices and professionals, on the beach early in the morning. Sandunes Paradise Beach

 

The Sandunes Paradise Beach, located in Pudukuppam, is just 12 kilometres from the white town of Puducherry. Chunnambar Boat House is on the way to this beach. Sandunes entry fee is Rs. 70 per person, and it is free for kids. Aquapark, Speed Boat, Kayaking, Jetski, Zorb Ball, Roller Ball, and Yacht Rides are some of the water sports you can find there. They also have ATV ride, horse ride and camel ride for some sandy experience. One of the most romantic things to do here is have a candlelight dinner with flower décor, soothing music, and a cake. The beach is open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
