“While wandering through the streets of Pondicherry, I felt the history and the legacies of the past through observing and capturing its walls, as well as its façades, doors and windows, pillars, and the trees intertwined with the stone.

All these ‘landscapes’ that I sought to convey through photography—these fragments, these traces of life, these textures—become living tableaux, forming the layers of memory and time.

They resonate within me and speak to me. I try to grasp and then express their language here.”
