The Seagull Cruise in Pondicherry, offered by the Tourism Department of the Government of Pondicherry, is an exciting cruise experience for the locals and tourists. This 60 – seat seagull cruise with excellent hospitality explores the beauty of Pondicherry from the sea and is an amazing way to see the city. The trip will commence from the Uppalam port (Expo Ground near Indira Gandhi Stadium) to the sea for sightseeing from the sea of Pondicherry city, experiencing the shore views from the sea, and visiting unique tourist attractions in Pondicherry.
You can enjoy the ride into the deep sea for two hours. Being in the vast Indian Ocean will be an insane experience. The passengers will be served lemon juice and salt biscuits to avoid vomiting sensations, and the water bottle is also limitless. Life jackets will also be provided. Right from the start of the journey until the end, there is a mix of music played, from Hollywood to Bollywood. The rocking of the sea and the hitting of the big waves will make you vibe with the songs played. Around 4 to 5 lifeguards will always be on the boat, ensuring safety and security. There will be one person who explains the whole trip, the places, and its history, which will be very informative. The ride covers Rock Beach, Pondy Marinaa Beach, Paradise Beach, Ruby Beach, Eden Beach, Old Light House, New Light House, Gandhi statue, new harbor, and the old port pier.
